The Mission
Foundation Church exists to preach and teach the Bible in context, foster spiritual growth and discipleship, reach people with the love of Christ through compassionate outreach and evangelism.
CORE VALUES
BIBLE-BASED
2 Timothy 3:16
All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right.
In a postmodern world of subjective truth and uncertainty, people are looking for solid answers. At Foundation Church, we know that the 66 books of the Bible are the verbally inspired Word of God and absolute, infallible wisdom and guidance can only be found there. It is the “source code” that we can apply to our lives to give us eternal hope and life through Jesus Christ. We are committed to teaching and preaching the full gospel and not taking away or adding to what has already been inspiredly given to us by God. The Word and promises of God are yes and amen! (2 Corinthians 1:20)

DISCIPLESHIP
Luke 9:23
“Then he said to them all: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me.”
Following Jesus Christ goes far beyond an altar call and a sinner’s prayer. At Foundation Church, we value discipleship just as much as the initial decision we make to follow Christ. Christianity must be our lifestyle and not merely a weekly two-hour commitment. The gap between a lifestyle Christian and being a “weekend warrior” is tremendous. The only way to fill the gap is spiritual preparation and training through discipleship. Though fellowship, bible studies, mentorship, and prayer, our goal is to move the new believer from spiritual milk to meat. (1 Corinthians 3:2)

EVANGELISM
Romans 10:11-15
How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!”
There is a missions field all around us ready for harvest but there are few people willing and ready to share their faith in the public sphere. (Matthew 9:37) Beyond discipleship, our church programs and services must be a platform to take us beyond the four walls of the church into personal evangelism. We must share the love of Christ through fruitful and active ministry to bring glory to God. Witnessing to others in public, praying for the lost and broken, and presenting the gospel in an effective way takes determination and sacrifice. As we move beyond our comfort zones in faith, God will help us reap a harvest of souls for His Kingdom and lives will be transformed.

GENERATIONS
Psalm 33:11–12
The counsel of the Lord stands forever,
The plans of His heart to all generations.
Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord,
The people He has chosen as His own inheritance
Times change, technology rapidly progress and information travels even faster than each year before but the plans of God’s heart and His counsel transcends generations and connects believers regardless of age, race, or background. At Foundation, we have a heart for connecting the young and the old by the common thread of the love of Jesus Christ. This is a church that desires to reach and connect ALL generations, not just a select few. We can only learn from each other and grow by passing what we have learned on to others. (2 Timothy 2:2)

FAMILY
Ephesians 2:19-22
So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the cornerstone, in whom the whole structure, being joined together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord. In him you also are being built together into a dwelling place for God by the Spirit.
Family values are under attack in our rapidly changing world. The percentage of Americans growing up in broken homes is steadily increasing. Many are without fathers or mothers or both. Widows and widowers abound. The Bible promises us that no matter what our family situation is, we have a new family and a Heavenly Father in Christ alone. He is the Father of the fatherless (Psalm 68:5) and through Christ, we can welcome each other in as brothers and sisters and provide the support that only a true family can provide. At Foundation Church, we seek to cultivate an environment that promotes fellowship and a culture of family. We glorify God by building relationships and growing together in love through the good times and bad.
